WE are the Holmstroms

Our world drastically changed on November 16, 2016 when one of our beloved spontaneous identical triplets, Emory was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.  We found ourselves on the 9th floor of Texas Children’s Hospital in downtown Houston wrestling with God and wondering how we would put one foot in front of the other.

Throughout the course of her treatment (which she is still in) we have been blown away by the army of people that have supported us, from our family, friends, church, neighbors, and hospital!

Along our journey we have met many unsuspecting families just like us who have found themselves with a cancer diagnosis of their child. This platform exists in hopes to honor all childhood cancer warriors, their family, their journey and their story, as well as be a resource to provide information on childhood cancer, and all that we have learned through the highs and the lows of this ride.

So grab a cup of coffee and stay a while.  It is our hope and prayer that anyone who finds themselves here has found a place with some helpful tips, direction, and hope as they navigate a childhood cancer diagnosis.
